The simulation of complex systems of big proportions is achievable through 1-D analysis tools, which use the lumped parameters approach for the system modeling.

The Easy5 software allows the carrying out of multidisciplinary simulations, enabling the analysis of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as hydraulic steering system of automotive vehicles, aircraft landing gear, industrial gas distribution networks or pneumatic valve control systems in oil transport lines.

By the integration of Easy5 with other simulation software, it is possible to build models and to perform co-simulations for the development of multidisciplinary studies, such as assessments of the influence of a steering system with power assistance, or of a brake system, on the vehicle dynamics through the co-simulations using Adams and Easy5.
